Founded in 1940, IMAP is one of the first companies dedicated to the processing of thermoplastics in Argentina (injection, blow molding and inject molding).
It is located in the OKS Industrial Park in Garín, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It owns a piece of land of 22.500m2 and buildings for 8500m2 with the possibility of doubling this surface.
It manufactures both its own products as well as exclusive products for its customers. It has 30 injection, 13 blow molding and 2 injection blow molding machines plus 18 equipments for complementary processes (printing, labeling, assembly, etc ...)
The majority of its customers are world class companies
Founded in 1940 as "IMAP SRL" by a German immigrant, it was one of the earliest companies engaged in the processing of thermoplastics in Argentina.
It started out manufacturing “jewellery” with 3 machines in a "shed" in the neighborhood of Nuñez.
In 1960 it changed to IMAP SAIC.
In 1972 it moves the industrial operation to the OKS Industrial Park (Garin), where it is today, and its offices to the neighborhood of Saavedra.
In 1994 it also moves its offices to the industrial estate.
In 2003, it inaugurated the "Pharma Area" (productive area with special conditions) being the first company in Argentina to produce under these conditions.
Currently it supplies mostly to the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries. It has 53 machines and 17 equipments for "value added" processes.
Design and development of all types of products.
Thermoplastic transformation by Injection, Blow and Injection- Blow Molding.
Offset and Screen Printing, Hot Stamping, Pad Printing, Labelling (adhesive and shrink).
Termination: set assembly, ultrasonic sealing, garrison placement and special operations according to customers’ needs.
Work based on an Integrated Quality Management System which includes the whole organization and has its focus on process stability.
Used to working to the highest quality standards since most of our clients are laboratories who make audits on a regular basis. Quality controls and tests tailored according to customers’ requirements.
Manufacturing process in a specially adapted area to meet the standards of both local and international pharmacopoeia.
The first company in Argentina to manufacture under these conditions (since 2003).
IMAP’s Tubes and Caps for effervescent tablets and Medicinal Bottles lines are manufactured in this area.
